Updates to MyMaths coming in the new school year

As you approach the end of the current school year, we’re busy working to tackle some of the issues you’ve told us about that would improve your experience of using MyMaths.

You’ve told us that you’d like to be able to allocate lessons to students and so we’re working on adding the option for you to do this from the teacher dashboard. We think you’ll find this a useful feature for those occasions when you want your class to complete a lesson only, or to review a lesson before they begin the corresponding homework task. You’ll still be able to assign homeworks in the same way as before – that functionality won’t be affected by this change.

You’ve also let us know that you’d like to be able to review student answers for a longer period of time, something that would be especially useful over the school holidays. We’re in the process of extending the time you have to view student answers, by making them available for at least a month.

We’ll also extend the time students have to complete a homework task that they’ve already started. Students will be able to pick up from where they left off up to a month after they saved their progress partway through a task.

We’re also working on ways to make it easier for you to find relevant resources as well as adding more videos and other new content for teaching and learning. These additions along with other improvements will be released over the coming months and throughout the new school year.

We’d love to hear what you and your pupils think and how we can improve MyMaths – if you have any feedback for us, please let us know at: mail@mymaths.co.uk.
