New games added to Primary MyMaths
We’re delighted to announce that two new versions of our most popular MyMaths game have been added to the site.
Thousands of children already enjoy playing the classic MyMaths game Escape, which was originally designed for secondary students. Now we have released two new versions that are more accessible to younger pupils.
In Escape: times tables, children practise multiplication facts up to 10×10 and corresponding division facts. This game features the full ten levels and is targeted at children aged 8 and older, but it could be enjoyed by younger children too.
In level 4 of Escape: times tables, pupils practise multiplication facts from the 3 and 4 times tables.
In Escape: addition and subtraction, children practise addition and subtraction facts within 20 and related facts within 100. This game is targeted at children aged 6 and older and has only three levels, giving younger children greater opportunities for experiencing success in maths.
In level 1 of Escape: addition and subtraction, pupils practise addition facts within 20.
We hope that these new versions of the game will enable more Primary children to enjoy playing Escape, developing their fluency in key number facts while also having fun!
