New lessons and homework tasks on Secondary MyMaths

We are delighted to announce the release of 8 new pairs of matching lesson and homework tasks on Secondary MyMaths!

We have recently published new Secondary small steps content covering linear graphs at Key Stage 3. These resources were designed with feedback from teachers on the scope, difficulty, differentiation, and accessibility.

A page in a lesson for exploring the relationship between the equation, gradient and y-intercept of a line.

A MyMaths homework page showing questions about lines in the form y = kx.

One of the pages from a new homework about lines in the form y = kx.

The 8 lesson/homework pairs cover the following topics:

  • Lines parallel to the axes
  • Lines of the form y = kx
  • Gradient of a line
  • Lines of the form y = x + a
  • Lines with negative gradient
  • Plotting linear sequences and linear graphs
  • Understanding y = mx + c
  • Equations of straight lines

You can find them in the ‘Latest’ or ‘Algebra’ sections of the Library in the Classic MyMaths view.
