Expert advice and SATs support from MyMaths

With Key Stage 2 SATs revision period well underway, we wanted to highlight some of the support we can offer you to get your pupils ready for prepared for their upcoming exams.

  • Find handy tips from our experts: If you follow our Oxford Primary blog you may have seen a recent post from Year 6 maths teacher, Sarah Burnham, on how best to prepare your students for the exams. Sarah’s post offers some great helpful hints for teachers preparing for the maths tests, including using MyMaths to help engage students in their revision, utilising the Assessment Manager to track progress, and getting parents involved in revision with Online Homeworks.

  • Download our KS2 SATs Arithmetic Worksheet: Download and print out our Arithmetic worksheet to get your classes practicing some of the topics that may come up in the exams. The worksheet is laid out in the style of a mini SATs paper - why not challenge your pupils to complete it in class in 15 minutes? Or it makes a handy homework exercise too!

We’ve also provided a helpful mark sheet that matches the questions up to helpful lessons and homeworks on MyMaths.

  • Login to access our SATs Booster Packs: We have a number of worksheets that provide assessment-style questions that you can use to help your Year 6 pupils practise ahead of their SATs tests.

  • Take a quick look back at last year’s exams: We’ve mapped out some of the questions from the 2017 national tests to the resources in MyMaths, to show how they can help pupils practise ahead of the tests. Download our post-2017 SATs guide

  • Register for our free Pre-SATs webinars: Perfect for both new and experienced users, our free webinars will not only give you a quick refresher on the site and the Assessment Manager, but will also take you through the Pre-SATs material available. Sign up on our support site.
