We have now published the following new lessons and homeworks to support the 2014 KS3 curriculum:

Venn diagrams 1

This lesson covers interpreting data given in a Venn diagram, finding simple probabilities, and introduces students to the language and notation of sets, including union, intersection and complement.

Venn diagrams 2

This lesson moves on to constructing Venn diagrams from given data and using set notation with probabilities.

Geometric sequences

This lesson provides a friendly approach to geometric sequences, starting with key vocabulary, recognising and generating sequences, and then finding rules. It ends with a page on the real-world relevance of geometric sequences.
Find it in Library: Algebra: Sequences or search “Geometric

Dividing a decimal by a decimal

This lesson shows students how to rewrite decimal division questions using equivalent fractions. It then shows how to simplify to get the final answer or carry out a corresponding division by a whole number.

Higher powers

After a quick recap of squares, square roots, cubes and cube roots this lesson moves onto higher powers and roots, including use of a calculator.

Equations

We will also be updating and adding new resources to our Equations – Linear section. We will give you advance notice of the changes via the blog soon, providing more detail on the new structure and information on when they’ll be released.
