Coming to MyMaths in the new school year

Congratulations on seeing your students through another year! Exams are over and the well-earned summer break is fast approaching, but before thoughts turn to holidays we wanted to share with you a sneak peek of some of the improvements coming to MyMaths next year.

  • See students’ time on task: as well as seeing scores and how students answered, you’ll be able to see how long each student spent on their homework giving you a view of who is taking their time and who is racing through.
  • See whether the task has previously been set: when browsing the resources to assign, you’ll be able to easily see whether and when you’ve set that task to the class before with the introduction of the ‘last set’ date.
  • Set the lesson and homework at the same time: if you want the lesson and homework to both be assigned you’ll no longer have to set each individually with the time-saving option to also set the lesson when you’re allocating the homework.
  • Easier view of resources: the library view that you see when you first login is also being brought into the Teacher Dashboard view so you can more easily browse the breadth of resources available, in time you’ll be able to directly allocate from here as well.
  • More resources: across Primary and Secondary, new homeworks, lessons and worksheets are coming to support you and help your students achieve their best.

We trust that there’s something here that will improve your experience using MyMaths; these enhancements, like all those we’ve delivered this year, are informed by you, so please continue to tell us what’s working well and what you’d like to be different. You can get in touch with us at mail@mymaths.co.uk.   In case you want a reminder of this year’s updates (there were a lot!) check out our platform updates at https://support.mymaths.co.uk/technical-support/latest-release-notes, these offer a recap on how to set lessons and see which students completed them, as well as set a customizable minimum pass mark to ensure consistency and save time.

For details of all our new publishing this year, including the new secondary lessons and homeworks, White Rose worksheets, and KS2-3 videos go to https://www.mymaths.co.uk/news/index.html.

Have a wonderful summer.
