New KS3 Booster: aligned to White Rose spring term

Are you using the White Rose schemes of learning? We are delighted to announce the release of a new KS3 booster pack on Secondary MyMaths, which is aligned with the White Rose curriculum.

We have worked with teachers who have extensive experience of using the White Rose schemes of learning to design these worksheets. All the small steps in the curriculum are covered to ensure that students can practice every key skill.

A worksheet page showing three questions about angles in parallel lines.

One of the pages from a new worksheet, asking questions about angles in parallel lines.

A worksheet page showing a set of questions about percentage changes.

A page from a developing worksheet showing extra scaffolding that helps students solve problems about percentage changes.

We have released 18 new worksheets. These worksheets cover the first part of the White Rose schemes of learning for week 7 – 12 of the spring term across Year 7 – 9:

  • Operations and equations with directed number (Yr 7)
  • Fractions and percentages (Yr 8)
  • Standard index form (Yr 8)
  • Deduction (Yr 9)

Worksheets in the following blocks across Years 7 – 9 will be available in March 2023:

  • Addition and subtraction of fractions (Yr 7)
  • Number sense (Yr 8)
  • Rotation & translation (Yr 9)
  • Pythagoras’ theorem (Yr 9)

To access the new booster packs, select the Classic MyMaths, Middle school (England) or KS3 (England) curriculum views, and you will find them under the Revision and Assessment area – they are called ‘WR booster pack: Y7 Spring’, ‘WR booster pack: Y8 Spring’ and ‘WR booster pack: Y9 Spring’.
