New KS3 Booster: aligned to White Rose Y8 and Y9 autumn term

Are you using the White Rose schemes of learning? We are delighted to announce the release of a new KS3 booster pack on Secondary MyMaths, which is aligned with the White Rose curriculum.

We have worked with teachers who have extensive experience of using the White Rose schemes of learning to design these worksheets. All the small steps in the curriculum are covered to ensure that students can practice every key skill.

A worksheet page showing three coordinate planes. Students drag and draw straight lines on the coordinate planes according to the given equations.

One of the pages from a new worksheet, asking questions about drawing straight lines according to the given equations with MyMaths interactive features.

A worksheet page showing a set of questions about finding ratios from diagrams.

A page from a developing worksheet showing extra scaffolding that helps students solve problems about ratios.

We have released 35 new worksheets. These worksheets cover 6 blocks of the White Rose schemes of learning for the first 6 weeks of the year 8 and year 9 autumn term:

  • Ratio and scale
  • Multiplicative change
  • Multiplying and dividing fractions
  • Straight line graphs
  • Forming and solving equations
  • Testing conjectures

To access the new booster packs, select the Classic MyMaths, Middle school (England) or KS3 (England) curriculum views, and you will find them under the Revision and Assessment area – they are called ‘WR booster pack: Y8 Autumn’ and ‘WR booster pack: Y9 Autumn’.
