Keep in touch with statistics

We're really pleased to be launching our new-style blog, to keep you up-to-date on new developments not only with MyMaths, but also in the world of maths generally. Talking of which, have you heard that 2013 is the International Year of Statistics, a worldwide event supported by more than 1,400 organizations, including the Royal Statistical Society?
The aim of this event is to increase awareness of the power and impact of statistics on society generally, to nurture statistics as a profession, especially among young people, and to promote creativity and development in the study of probability and statistics.
In the MyMaths team we're all certainly keeping a keen eye out for more information, and will do our best to let you know asap about the many events and competitions that will be coming up in the year ahead!
